A Personal Letter from Elaine Marie Bateman:

To my dearest husband, family, friends and strangers alike – to everyone who graciously supported me in more ways that I could possibly list here – my deepest and most heartfelt gratitude. 

There are no adequate words that can describe my feelings right now. I am somewhat overwhelmed by everyone’s kindness shown toward me! I have worked very hard over these last several months to represent our Great Commonwealth of Kentucky in such a way, that others might see what a great place this is to raise a family and a future together as one united people. I am so proud to be from Kentucky!

During the upcoming months, I will continue working hard to represent marriage, family values and to advocate on behalf of “abandoned young adults” and the need for older, seasoned individuals to embrace a member of today’s “Invisible Generation” as their own.

As a mother to such a large family of young adults – one of my fears was that most of my dear ones would not be able to be with me at the Mrs. International Pageant coming up. But, thanks to so many kind donations from friends all over the United States, we were able to purchase the tickets necessary for my loved ones to be with me! Thank you!

Finally, I want to give thanks to the only One who deserves my complete adoration – my Great God and Lord Jesus Christ. He has given me a hope that makes my heart sing, even during the most difficult times. I am so blessed.
